Overload Game

Welcome to Overload! This is an original and addictive computer board game that's fun for everyone. Play against the computer or other players across the Internet or local network.

Overload is a brand-new turn-based logical game for two players on a board. It is possible to play two humans or computer versus human. Two people can play on the same computer or via network. The major feature of this logic game is great instability of the game situation. Nobody can be absolutely sure that his situation is the best. The situation changes very dynamically.

Basic Game Rules

The game board size is 9x6 cells. The opponents make their moves by turns. You can occupy any cell not occupied by the opponent's pieces. On one cell it is possible to contain up to 4 pieces. When the number of pieces in a cell reaches 4, the cell "blows up" - 4 pieces are scattered on 4 cells, located contiguously to the "blown up" one. If these cells contain the pieces of the opponent, they change ownership to the player who has made the explosion. If before the explosion in any of these cells there was 3 pieces, the adding of the 4^th piece causes it to also blow up. Setting off chain reactions like this is a major part of this game. To win you must remove from a field all pieces of the opponent.

Full Rules of Each Level

The player graduates levels by winning each game, not by selecting a difficulty level on a menu like other games. When the player starts a new game, it is played at level 1. If the player wins, the board is then reset, but now is at the level 2 rules. If the player wins that level, the board is reset and then goes by level 3 rules, and so on.

1	Both gamers play according to the rules above. Explosions on the edge do not wrap around, and so on.
2	There are the basic rules for human and special rules for computer: The computer can "explode through the borders", i.e. if the enemy's piece near the border of the game field is exploded, the splinters of the explosion, which fall out of screen, don't disappear. They appear at the opposite side of the field according to explosion rules.
3	Human can't put his own pieces near the borders of the game field.
4	Like the Level 3, but computer can "explode through the borders".
5	Like the Level 4 and computer can explode only diagonally (aslant).
6	Human can "explode through the borders", but the computer goes twice a move.
7	Both human and computer can "explode through the borders". Computer goes twice a move.
